Eating well is really quite simple. The hard part is that there are so many options today that sound simple, but are anything but good for you. Food that isn't really food - it's more like processed filler products with lots of additives. It may make you happy and full in the moment, but not in the long run. On the contrary, it is difficult for the body to handle, makes the feeling of fullness short-lived, creates cravings for more and makes it harder for us to listen to our bodies. But it wasn't always this way. We want to help recreate the interaction between people and food. We want to contribute to better public health and make it easier for you to make the right choice.

We started For Real! Foods with a clear ambition to get more people eating healthily - our contribution to public health. For us, eating well is about more than getting an exact amount of a particular food, counting calories or focusing on specific nutrients. It's about eating real food. Food that doesn't contain any weirdness or additives. Food that is made from really good ingredients. Food that makes you full and satisfied and makes you feel good in the short and long term. Food that doesn't trick your body, but makes you feel hungry when you need nutrition, and comfortably full for a long time.
In our small factory in Skärhamn on Tjörn, we work every day to test, explore and develop new food experiences, always with the same care for quality, lots of flavor and with a close eye on the content. We are foodies with a genuine passion for food who love to spread the joy of eating and we refuse to compromise. Not with ingredients, nutrition or taste. We want to give bodies what they need and minds what they crave. We want to give you REAL food!
Let's start by only producing food that our bodies need and that makes us feel good.
We are passionate about reducing the unnecessary use of the Earth's resources. Today, more than 30% of all food produced is thrown away, while much of the food that reaches our mouths is food that no one really needs. The most important thing for us is therefore to produce only nutritious and healthy food that gives us energy and that we feel good about eating. Our products are therefore developed based on the following philosophy:
NETWORK
We produce nutrition and not empty calories. Nutrient-dense food is food with a lot of nutrition per calorie that gives our bodies energy and makes us feel satisfied.
MORE FROZEN, LESS WASTE
Less than 1% of all frozen food is wasted compared to over 30% for many other categories. A key to reducing resource use and food waste is therefore to eat more frozen food.
LOCALLY PRODUCED
We strive to use a large proportion of Swedish and locally produced raw materials, thus benefiting the local industry and reducing global transportation. All our products are also carefully produced in Skärhamn on Tjörn.

We love to challenge people's preconceptions about healthy food. We do this through our simple philosophy. It's simple because it's basically just about making you 100% satisfied, without compromising in any way. So you should get both what your body needs and what your brain wants. Unfortunately, the body and mind don't always want the same thing. Almost never, to be honest. We know it's not easy - and that's why we're here, to make it easier for you! For us at FOR REAL! FOODS, it almost feels like magic when we manage to create delicious flavor explosions made from only truly nutritious ingredients. And the feeling when you get to sink your teeth into the finished products - a pure pleasure for both body and soul. That's why we put a lot of time and energy into getting the right taste and texture with natural ingredients. We do it because we love food, and because we are passionate about offering exciting, amazing and healthy food that people really WANT to eat. As I said, we refuse to compromise. Not with ingredients, nutrition or taste. We want to give bodies what they need and minds what they crave. And the answer is REAL food!
