Pizza Bianco with roasted and pickled carrots, basil cream and feta cheese

For two people

  • 1 package of pizza bases white cabbage base (2 pcs)
  • 4 tbsp creme fraiche 
  • Basilica 
  • 2 dl grated cheese
  • 1 bunch of carrots 
  • 75 grams of feta cheese 
  • Scallions 
  • radishes 
  • Salt & pepper 
  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and leave the plate/pizza stone in the oven to heat up.
  2. Bring the water, sugar and vinegar to the boil and leave to cool. Thinly slice the carrots lengthwise, add them to the mixture and leave until the pizzas are cooked. 
  3. Mix 1 tbsp of creme fraiche with a handful of basil. Then fold the remaining creme fraiche into the basil cream (if you mix all the creme fraiche directly, the consistency will be too loose). Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the basil cream all over the pizza bases.
  5. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  6. Thinly slice the carrots lengthwise and spread them on the bases. Add salt before placing the pizzas in the oven.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 7 minutes - or until nicely colored.
  8. Slice the spring onions and radishes. 
  9. Top the pre-baked pizzas with the scallions, pickled carrots and radishes.
  10. Crumble over the feta cheese. 
  11. Finish by topping with basil.
